Julia May Presents Artist of the Month

Edwina May

The library is displaying the works of artist Edwina May whose s the Workshop Coordinator at “Cheap Joe’s” in Boone, NC.  Her specialty is painting pet and animal portraits but she also enjoys painting rural landscapes and has created large murals.  No wonder, being a native of Watauga County and growing up on a farm there.  Most of her paintings are watercolor but she also works in acrylics.   She is a graduate of ASU with a BS in Art Education.
