New Art Exhibit at the Ashe County Public Library
Currently
showing in the library’s upstairs’ gallery are paintings by Joy Braverman.
Joy
is a spiritual person as reflected in her personal philosophy and her paintings
that often are light and airy and
influenced by oriental painting – particularly Japanese and Chinese-as well as
musical. Other paintings reflect her
interest in animals, wildlife and natural habitat. She expresses her interest in humanity, more
specifically people, in her writings and
self-description. Come by the library,
view her paintings and enjoy.
Braverman’s work that is on display until the second week in August. There will be a reception on Friday, July
10, 2015 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Afterwards you can join the “West Jefferson Art Crawl” in downtown West
Jefferson.
