Arly the Library Fox discovers Christmas at Ashe Library

Since this is Arly’s first Christmas as a Library Fox he wasn’t sure what to expect.  In fact, this is the first Christmas he has ever experienced!  In the past, he spent winters outdoors in isolated mountain areas and always wondered about the colorful lights and delightful carols he saw and heard from afar.

Ashe librarians wanted to be sure Arly looked festive for his photos so they decked him out with a Christmas necktie and  holiday bow.   Wherever Arly looked he was amazed by the holiday magic all around him.  He especially enjoyed making new friends and discovering new books!  Arly has been counting down the days until Christmas with Winter Book Recommendations on his Facebook page.  Check out a good book and see what Arly’s been reading!

Arly will be visiting the library again at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, for a special story time.  He will bring along his newest friend Santa Claus!  All are welcome to meet Arly, Santa, and enjoy cookies and hear a holiday story.
